I think that you just get some pliers and twist the venturi counter clock wise..I may be wrong, but check with hsuve.

clockwise? it doesnt seem to be moving too much, and the needle noses wont fit in there.

I tried the needle nose thing and it doesn't work too well.
The best way to do it is heat your bolt over a flame, stick two drill bits on opposite sides of the ventur then hold onto the ends of the bits with a pair of pliers and twist counter-clockwise. I have done it this way on two spyder bolts now.

forst in the air port where the air comes up from the valve u haft hold a flme in there to break the loctite and then stick needle nose and grip a star, and then twist counterclockwise.

I keep hearing use only needle nose pliers, but at least for me I could not get a decent grip on the edges of the venturi. I ended up twising off the venturis. Using drill bits gives much better leverage.

Aluminum melts at a pretty high temp...your average lighter flame should be hot enough to melt whatever's holding it on (loctite or whatever) but it shouldn't hurt the bolt. I've never tried it but I doubt it would do anything to the aluminum.

how long would i have to hold the flame there? when would i know the loctite was gone? also i dont have a normal lighter, i have a micro torch. cool thing melts glass.

Your micro torch should be ok, but don't hold me to that.:) It takes a lot to melt aluminum, if you want just don'thold it over the flame as long. It doesn't have to be too hot, its just that the more melted the loctite is the easier it will come off. As for the drill thing, well its not too hard to explain. Put a drill bit in the hole that is made by the venturi then put another bit on the other side. Grab ahold of them both at once with a plair of pliers since they will stick out the front and twist.

WicxOr- Aftermarket bolts don't hold much advantage at all. Maybe delrin ones, but even then it is slim.

ah, alright..thx...so even if I were to purchase a delrin in the future..I would see little , if no difference in the gun's performance pretty much?

Yup, except you wouldn't have to oil the bolt.:)

Well for one thing the air hole is not where the venturi is screwed in. It is behind that. Other than that I'm not sure.

are the newer spyder bolts different then the old ones?do you have to unsrew the new ones? On the old spyder classic bolt there was just a metal piece in the shape of an x as the venturi. to modify mine i jut knocked it out with a screwdriver and cupped the top with sandpaper. i don't know if thats possible onthenewer spyders.

I own a regular Spyder TL-Plus with a 16 inch Armson stealth berral. I was wondering, if i made my gun low pressure if this berral would present to much resistance?

Maybe a little, but it probably wouldn't pose much of a problem.

Thanks, is it wirht it to make my spyder low pressure or should i buy a new gun, i kinda want to stay with my old gun, i like the accuracy and range it has already and i thaught that maybe low pressure would make it that much better.

first off what does that have to do with non-venturi venturi bolt, second off, i still cant get it to work, assume im retarded here and could someone tell me in step by step descriptive examples how to do it? i took my dads torch and put it on my bolt for 2 minutes till it started glowing and the oil smoking, IT STILL DIDNT UNSCREW! the damn screw bits just broke again.
