Tell me how a bushmaster and a bko Re-cock as you will. I know that bko's have a spring but how does a bushy recock.

Thanks

Bushmaster are electorpneumatic.

This mean that they have a 2-way or 4-way selinoid valve in them (that's an electricly operated valve in case you were wondering) that is opened/close very quickly via the marker computer chip or "board" when you pull the trigger.

So, they air pressure from the selinoid (when activated) is directed into a pneumatic ram that push the bolt forward and at the top of the stroke (when the ball is fully chambered in the barrel) the ram hits a valve that directs are up through the bolt and out the bolt. This, consiquently, ejects the paintball from the barrel.

Now, here is were a few markers differ. There are 2 ways electropneumatic marker "recock" or, more accurately, return to the resting state with the bolt back.

The first, the way Impulses and I believe B2K's work, is useing the 4-way selinoid. The selinoid valve "closes" and redirects air to the front of the ram, causing it to retract. This in turn pulls the bolt back and readys the marker for the next shot.

The second way, the way the BKO works, uses the 2-way valve. The ram on a BKO contains a spring that is always pushing the bolt back. With the two way valve, either air is or is not getting to the back of the ram. So, when the valve "closes", the air pressure in the ram is released (via the 2-way) and the spring is then allowed to push the ram and bolt assembly back to the resting state.

So, true electro markers don't technically "cock" themselves, because the have no sear. They just return to there resting state.

If you still have any questions, I'd be glad too answer them :-D

I usually run mine at 8 or 10ms dwell. 6ms is possible if you have a 2K3 Chaos (which I have) but I had problems with proper feeding with 6ms...
