response trigger tournament legal?

Ive been looking into to getting an A5 with response trigger but ive herad rumors of tournaments not allowing respnse triggers. I played in several small 3 man tournaments and they did not ahve a problem with response triggers but i want to start playing bigger` tournaments and i dont want to waste teh money on a response trigger if i cant use it.

it is not tournament legal in the vast majority of fields.
ask your local field about it to see if you can use it

In most bigger tournaments the RT is not allowed. Like you've said, some smaller tournaments will allow it, however.
