How does a warp feed work?

This may seem like a stupid newb question, but how the hell does a warp feed work. And if they're so damn good then howcome i never see any pros or anyone at all for that matter using them????? Plz explain

Two urethane discs hold the balls from the side. The motor makes these discs spin and push the balls up into the gun.

Why don't pro's use them? AGD doesn't sponsor any pro teams, and pro's can only use what their sponsors tell them, uauslly. Some pro's, such as Bob Long, Have in the past, and/or currently use warps.
