newest Impy?

I'm just wondering which are newer....the Impulse with the big white lettering or the ones with the small purple lettering? I just bought one Sunday and it had the purple lettering on the side of the gun towards the upper rear of it, with the Vision also lettered in purple towards the middle. I'd hate to have bought an older model. Thanks, I'd appreciate it.

P.S. Or is it just the Impy with Vision that have purple lettering?

The newer models have the "jewel" the older ones (for the most part) have the White lettering.

The very latest ones have duel ball detents

Except for fades, most of the guns we are seeing right now are getting real close to the 10,000 serial number.

What is this "duel ball detent"? How do you use it and what is the purpose of it on the gun?

my serial number is 9000 somethin. it has a ball detent on each side. its tight........ :D

while visiting your site as well as PBGEAR, County Paintball, XPaintball, etc... I noticed that all the pics of the impulse had the white lettering on them.

If I ordered from your site (or most any other site for that matter) Would I be getting the pictured one or the one with the jewel?

As Smart Parts makes changes (like the feed tube milling, double ball detents ect) I don't generaly go back an redo the pics. The latest Impulses have the little "jewl" on the gun (insted of the old lazer engraving).

If i ever have an Impulse in long enought to take a picture of it, I promise I'll up date the pics. <G>

ok, mine is 4335, and it has white lettering, FOm, i want a twister feedn ck, and i want to know, is mine threaded, or epoxied, when did tehy sytart threading them, and i like my white lettering, i lik eit better tha a jewel

Yes yours is a threaded feed tube. They started threading them somewhere around 3000 I believe.
