Ok, i found a leak in the tiny slit between my vertical bottle adapter and my x-chamber. I tried teflon taping the threads of the x-chamber but the leak still continues to go through that little space. Right now a have a temporary teflon/packing tape wrapping around that area :) What can I do to stop this leak?

If it gets into your gun, you'll have a lot more leaking than just your asa. Take the x-chamber off and inspect the asa threads for over excecive were, and the threads on your x-chamber for scratches and dinks. other wise take it to your local proshop, they'll know what to do :p

You can use teflon tape, as long as you are super super careful and dont let it get down low on the threads so it gets into your gun. I use teflon tape myself for my ss hose fittings, and I've had not a single problem, because I was careful. Most x-chambers have an o-ring on em that keeps it from leaking at the screw in point. Check that o-ring for nicks, burs, or even if it's still there :) Wrst case scenario, you can buy liquid teflon tape and coat your threads and put em on, that'll prevnt it from leaking anymore, and you dont have to worry about teflon tape flying into your gun like you would with normal tape

No, the leak isnt coming from the top of the threads or near the o-ring of the x-chamber. The leak is coming from the tiny crack in between the silver aluminum of the x-chamber and the bottom of the vertical adaper. I believe the leak is being caused by co2 being built up in that area and then leaking out of the tiny slit. I have tried to tighten my x-chamber more, but its as sealed as it goes. I might have to buy that liquid teflon tape to form a barrier where those two pieces meet to stop this leak. Actually if my temporary tape job on the outside holds up, I might just keep that there.

If it's where your x-chamber screws into, then it could be your x-chamber o-ring like I said, because that's what keeps air from leaking out the crack between the x-chamber and the vertical adapter. Same thing with the threads and liquid teflon tape. Unless I'm not understanding where you are talking about (there's a very good chance of that, heh), maybe you could post a pic of a where an x-chamber and vertical join, and draw a little arrow where it's leaking from, I think I could fix it if I knew where the leak was.
