Intimidator 150% (my math sucks). In my opinion the best gun on the market . It's got the highest average score for electro guns that has more than 12 reviews here (9.4 average), I've never heard of anyone being disatisfied with their gun, maintenance is not as easy as an angel, but it isnt too tough either. Anti-chop eye, LCD screen, 14 balls per second, low pressure operation (can be brought as low as 180psi with a very easy to do mod that requires no cutting or special parts, just everything that came with the gun). Lastly, Bob Long's service is absolutely great. Check the intimidator's owners group on PBC and you'l hear story after story about him helpin people out. Replacing a defective solenoid on a used intimidator for free, replacing valve seats for free, anti-chop eyes for free, almost anything. Chances are, that if there is something wrong with your gun that wasnt your fault, he'll fix it for free (sent me valve seats and paid the shipping). I cant stress how good their service has been, or how good the gun is. Read the reviews, only one person had a bad review, and his problems were very minor (parts that broke) and those problems have since been worked out months ago. I've had nothing wrong with my gun at all (valve seats were replacements in case I break one at skyball, gotta be prepared). What more do you want from a gun? :)

Matrix
Used LED angel

Yeah, I love the intimiator, but the matrix is pretty darn good, my opinion is that the intimidator is better, but that's only because I like the balance better, and it has better gas efficiency. If you like the matrix's feel better, that's probably the way to go... 17 reviews cant all be wrong though :)

ok, then i will probably go w/ the intimidator. i read the reviews, and the gun sounds very nice.

Matrix LE is $700. If I did not have a Intimidator I would think about a Matrix. Ok, that was enough thinking, get a Intimidator for an extra $50.

Here is a $699.99 Matrix. I used this site before and it was safe.

Yeah, the intimidator would be your best choice for around that price

Gohan, you made the right choice for sure man :) If you have any problems at all, message me, I've helped alot of people with their guns, and I can fix most things. You're gonna love this gun. As great as ordering off the net is, try your best to get it from a store, that way you can be sure nothing is wrong with it, and you get what you ordered, nothing against orderin on the net, just that I've been burned before, and usually there is no customer service person to answer your questions. Look around your local shops, ask to hold the gun, feel the trigger, then buy the sucker :)

Oh, and pbreview mods, please dont take offence to me linkin to another message board, but you should really go here

http://forums.paintballcity.net/forumdisplay.php?forumid=42

The intimidator online community, lots of knowledgeable people there, and you can learn a ton about the gun just reading the posts.

And a little intimidator bible of sorts :) Real glad to have you as a fellow intimidator owner man

I have a shocker turbo and it is easy to maintain. I can't speek on behalf of the other guns because I don't have them. The shocker has flat trajectory, great range, and great accuracy.

If it has a built in drop forward, then can it accept nitro tanks that arent the screw in types? also, has anyone seen the red and orange one? And if so, is it nice looking?

I havent got one in the shop yet, and have only seen them on the field, but Im pretty sure that it doesnt use a rail system. Rather, its just the standard WGP/AGD two hole pattern.

And the red and orange is probably my favorite. It and the blue. Go to the electro section at http://www.countypaintball.com for a very good picture. They do look nice, and if they only didnt have that funny grip and built in dropforward, I would have gotten one when I sold my angel.

elTwitcho

The grip does look horrid, but it's so darn comfortable. The built in drop forward helps add a bit to the distance forward your tank will be, so that's also really nice, but it isnt far enough forward to be run bottomline comfortably, so you'd still want to get a DF. Also, when you get the gun, you'll see that that little drop forward is where the battery is housed, so it'd be tough to lose it :)

ssgohan
03-04-2001, 05:27 PM
dont most electro guns have their batteries housed in the grip?

elTwitcho
03-04-2001, 05:32 PM
Not all, Matrix, EM1, E-mag and I'm sure some others. The reason the battery is way down there, is because the Solenoid, chip, and battery all have to fit in the grip frame. It's still not that big really, just explaining why you cant chop off that little drop forward on the grip.

ssgohan

oh, i thought those all had their battery w/ all the electronics too. but i think a lot of things.

i got it from paintballgeeks.com. i have ordered from there before. they are my local proshop, but they sell it off the internet cheaper. i am getting the same gun i would get if i went in and bought it, except it is $250 cheaper.
