Ok, you have just been elected "commander" of a 15 man walkon group at a 15 acer woodland. The field is a big, dense rectangle w/ a small creek in the center and a flag on top of a small hill at either end. It is cature-the-flag (ya dont say). For some reason they decided they will let you give there guns to whatever person you see fit.
Your group has 3 bushys, 3 cockers, 3 M98s, 3 spyders and 3 Brass Eagle "liquid confety makers". You have 3 experts, 5 so-sos, 6 canon foders and 1 sneaky stalker type in a gilly-suit. Whet the hech, you have a gernade launcher, 3 "squad busters" and 3 riot shelds.
The other team has the same guns+experince. A "spy" told you that they will probly send a sniper force up the right, heavy weapons up the left and play the rest as defence.
Write a few paragraphs on your stratagy and if you are up to it, who gets what gun. Have fun with this but try to keep it stratigic. Maby we could put up a poll on who we think has the best plan!

I would assign the cockers and bushy's between the advanced players and the one sneaky sniper guy. with the remaining two higher end guns, I would distribute them to the moderate playes, along with the spyders and M98's. The lowest experience guys get the left over spyders and M98's along with the Brass Eagles guns. After all, gun doesn't matter, skill matters, so if you're completely unskilled, your gun won't really matter.
As for strategy itself, I'd devide my forces into four squads:
Squad one, made up of one advanced player, two moderate players, and three newbies. This squad is designed as a counter force to the large strike force heading down the left. Also these guys are given the grenade launcher, in hopes of them taking out large numbers of the assult force. Should they start to lose the battle, they are supposed to pull back closer to the base where others will be able to offer their assistance.
Squad two, is made up of two moderate players and one beginner player. These guys's roll is to camp out in the undergrowth and to wait for the sniper team heading that way. These guys have the tippman M98's hopefully with flatline barrels, but if not, any of the middle class guns will do. Their job is to let the snipers go past them, and to spring up behind them in an ambush of their own.
Remaining at the flag is one moderate player and two beginner players. The moderate player is equipped with a cocker, and the beginners are equiped with spyders. These guys are equipped with the shields. Their role is to remain there and defend the flag.
Now for my favorite force, the assult force. Consisting of the remaining two advanced players and the sneaky guy, they are supposed to go up the middle, and flank behind the main assult force on the left and ambush them.
I know I spread my defenses pretty thin, and probably not in the best fassion, but I'm not really accustomed to leading large forces like this. But hey, it's just a game so no problem :). Anyways I drew a picture.

Two circles-expert
Filled circles- so-so's
Hollow circles- fodder
Ghillie in going up the middle
Two so-so's on the left of the field have artillery
The two experts and so-so's on right sit for ambush at river, if succesful they proceed to attack the alleged defense on blue
If not succesful they retreat to build our defense but leaving one expert and one so-so to hide and wait for the advance.

IF there is a center flag, isn't this center flag. if so, I wouldn't keep defense.
3 experts = 3 bushies
5 so-so's = 2 cockers and 3 spyder's
6 amatures = 3 m98's and 3 brass eagle.
1 sniper = 1 cocker.
sniper and 3 newbies with m98's are going after the heavy artillary. the sniper will take a few retreat, and have the 3 BE's will jump up and fire on the advancing guys. they also have artillary.
3 experts and 5 so-so's are going after the sniper team and after eliminating them will go for the heavy artillary guys.
3 m98 guys have "squad busters" and riot shields protecting the flag.

In case anyone cares (doubt it) my post doesn't make sense unless the attachment is viewed. If someone could tell me how to place the pic on the post instead of in an attachment I could make the pic much bigger and less vague.

OK I'd send a two man sniper team (sneaky ghille guy with cocker and a so so with a spyder) up to counter their snipers. three so so's with m98's, sheilds and squad busters try to delay the heavy weapons, with a fighting retreat. Send a four man lightning assault (two two man teams, 3 experts with bushies, 1 so so with a spyder) up the center and center-left to flank the heavy weapons. Give the rest of the so sos cockers and spyders and the rest of the spyders and BE's to the cannon fodder, they get to burn money, stay back and throw paint like a bizatch.
