this is ...my parents come home....i intercept my report card before they get it....i open it up...i did awsome in every class...i went from a 18 to a 93 in music(thats amazing) but the only grade that went down was French...first marking period i had a 98...now i have a 50...i gtg....no computer for the rest of night....:(

yes but i got a 50...well anyways...i am on the computer for as long as i please tonight...since it was only one bad grade...but i am still grounded for one week now...cause i have a paintball tourny saturday(note this is a 5 day week grounding)and then another jan 4...and me and some friends are playing christmas morning at about 2:00 am eastern time...since every christmas we usually have snowball fights at that time....now that we have 24 kids we are going to play...in the woods...glowsticks only light unless you choose a flashlight

You don't "GO". in every class at the beggining of the Marking Period you start clean. so he earned the 50, not going from the 98 to it.

At least thats the way it is around here.

18 was first markiperiod....i wasn't at music 90% of the time...i was not feeling good:D ...and in French i was not feeling good either...and i didn't study...but realized it is hard to remeber 100 questions with thier answers all in french....i mean they even had french numbers written down... like 1 2 3 4 5 ...but in french...it was hard

I haven't played since my birthday, which was November 15th and I won't be playing for another long while, because I'm trying to save up money to get a new gun and if/when I get a job, I still won't have enough time to play. :(

If I brought home anything lower than a B on my report card, I'd be grounded from everything... My parents don't like B's very much, either.

The weather is starting to get pretty cold here in Iceland:D sooo for the next couple of months I will be hybernating in my cave and putting my "paintball fund" and "marker upgrade fund" together into my "supermegalo marker upgrade fund" ! The weather is so freakin weird up here though ...never know when its going to be nice. but I got a couple of cases of inferno stored away for those surprise days.

Yeah well, i havent gone in 2 weeks and it wont be til after x-mas. Iceland is the far western coutnry of Europe am I right? Well i heard it wasn't that cold in geography.

Well, I think the weather's a little colder this year, because in my experience of living five years in south Florida, it's usually at least in the 80's and only a few days would be in the 60's or lower. It's been like in the 60's and lower for the past two and a half weeks, I think it's going to stay like that for a while. Well... It can't be that cold, considering I'm in jeans and a T-shirt right now instead of heavy clothes... Hmmm... :| Or maybe I'm just totally void of the weather and never noticed the cold before I started playing paintball.

Its like northwest of England and its not as cold as the name suggest ....although it does get rough. I'm from ohio and the winters here are slighty worse than there. The highest it gets in summer is like 60-65 but averages around 50 degrees and in winter it is normally always around 30-35 but much more windy that in summer ....like we get 50 knot winds every other day that really drops the temp down hardcore and makes playing paintball impossible. Year and a half from now and I'm heading home :)

See Kyle there are advantages to being my age...no one can ground me....well, except the girlfriend...but that's different. :D But even when she does grounds me I still get to play paintball whenever I want.

haha my girlfriend can't do anything to me...well anyways...she plays paintball too...i bought her a pink electronic spyder last year...cheap for me...she loves it...she loves me...i love her...we play together...

i usually play twice a week...one on wednesdays after school and once on saturdays...then i play like sunday then sarturday...its hard to get my tank filled during the week considering Jasters shop is only open thursday friday and saturday at the moment...

wow your winters are warm, im lucky if it gets to be 30 here in the winter. I cant play except for indoor till like may, and there is really no good indoor places around. I havent played since Nov. 2, which isnt too bad, even though i need to play soon.

wtf are you talking about...our winters are freezing...it gets below 0 almost every night...i already played pond hockey 4 times...and it has only snowed twice......

i play indoor only in thw inter usually but my friend is having a tourny at his speedball field in the middle of nowhere...so i guess i gotta pull a few unused condoms out of my 2 gallong bucket filled with them underneath my bed...(i only use them for my gun in the winter:D )

Although it isn't as cold as some people might think in Iceland it DOES get cold and icy...in the middle of winter its averages like 20 degrees and 0 to below with the wind. We get really bad snow and hail storms ...sometimes it will hail 00 buck size hail for 3 to 5 minutes straight. When it ices over we have had cars get blown across icy parking lots into dumpsters....people get there car doors ripped off all the time lol....if it wasn't for the wind Iceland would be awesome.

If you never let a child out into the outside world an experience it's dangers, the child will never learn how to handle life or be ready for it.

Your parents can not protect you forever, and your family may be more dangerous to you by doing this then any of your friends.

If your parents will not let anyone else besides them drive you places, what happens when you are going to be able to drive?

I havent been paintballing in a while either. In the summer though I'm gonna work for my dad every day on the weekdays and try to go every sunday and saturday that'd be sweeet but I'll probably only go satruday. Also i need a ride cause the fields 20 minutes away. I cant wait till summer!

I know, I've tried talking to my parents about it, but since I argue so much and usually win, they refuse to listen anymore. Even when they did listen, they would just shake their heads, say they're just trying to protect me, and tell me to shut up.Originally posted by toolbandfan

Edit: I had a talk with my mommy... She told me to take things one at a time and wait untill I'm responsible enough.
