Can I put Rain-X in my barrel or will it ruin it? I have a PMI Razzor.

Why would you want to do that?

You shouldnt put anything in your barrel, usually they are polished to get a very slick finish, and putting weird coatings could mess that up. And you could also end up getting strange velocity fluctuations, or even if one side of the barrel has a thicker coat than the other, you could get weird spins on the ball. Dont put anthing in your barrel except water for when you clean it

if anything, put Proteam Barrel treatment. It leaves behind a small layer of teflon, and it increases accuracy and shoot through capabilities.

Yeah you never know. The chemicals in rain-x might react with some of the coating on the inside of the barrel. You might deteriorate, like ElTwitcho said, the inside of your barrel which could cause a decrease of accuracy or even a greater breaking of balls.

LOL, that's the stuff you put on the car windows that helps to keep rain off the glass. I know there is a better way of putting that but im too lazy to type. WORKS GREAT! for cars, LOL

I have tried rain-x in barrels... it's kinda like a barrel treatment so when you break a ball it shoots itself clean... however, I break so little paint, that I have yet to see if it makes a difference... the same thing goes with the bottle of pro-team barrel treatment I have.

I ordered some antifog solution to put on my lens and the store shipped me Pro-Team barrel treatment, it works great and leaves it very smooth inside the barrel!

Please DO NOT PUT RAIN X IN BARREL ... my friend thought that it would make his barrel self cleanging. he had a stone cold 14" 2 peice barrel. It was an accurate barrel. Afta the rain x he might as well have replaced his barrel with a straw. It was so bad. Balls curving everywhere. Da funny part was that he couldnt wash it off. It took him lik weeks to get his barrel working fine again.
