I think therre should be more protection that is hard. Just think if it was a rule in all fields that you had to ware a hard chest plate. It would make the game much less of a game of luck buy taking away about 25-50% of bounces.

The problem is that it cost more, restrict movement and not everone would use one. BUT THESE THINGS CAN CHANGE... if a bad***** company like JT gets behind it and starts advertising how much bounces suck, it could work!

your ideas?

Heh, like an advertisement that would say "Buy this chest protector and increase ball breakage on you by 25%-50%" welp, that is one product I would not buy and I am sure many others would not buy.

I believe he is advocating hard armor not that soft stuff to increase breaks and restrict bounces. Personlly I appreciate a bounce.

I don't think people would buy something that increases the chance of a ball breaking on them, thus increasing their chances of getting out. I think if it was required by somebody like NPPL (I'm not saying they will/would/should) then at least tournament players would wear them and you would probably see more newbies with them, but without that they're probably not going to increase in popularity. They could have a market for soft vests to increase bounces, but people would get picked on for wearing something like that probably. On the soft vest idea, life jackets (for boats) increase bounces, cousin shot my brother from 10ft away, ball bounced back at my cousin and missed him by less than 2ft. it was real funny because it was so unexpected.

Bounces arent that much of a problem if you ask me. It rarely happens and when it does it's crossfield shooting anyway. Keeps the backplayers in the game and gives you incentives to get closer because shooting at someone 150 feet away is a waste of paint. Otherwise we'd all be trading shots from cross field and what would be the fun in that?

I play rec with a few friends (around 12 people) , well we play if it hits you , you're out. Bounce or not , you are out. Sounds real *** but, we don't have refs so we play on the honor system. Now I have heard of some of the people I play with , if it bounces, they sometimes walk away, well I have done this also. I guess I will have to implement the same rule as you guys play, if it bounces it doesn't count, a few times paintballs with bounce from the ground and hit me in the leg and thats sort of confusing , I guess I will have to change that rule of "bounce or no bounce"

EDIT: Just so you don't get confused, I am NOT a wiper.
