What should I get for my birthday? A brand new 2001 Vert Feed Cocker, or a upgraded mag off ebay?

I would go with the vertical feed autococker.

I would go with the cocker. I am also looking at moving up to a vert feed cocker, but I am low on cash right now. Maybe in the spring...

Ok, I'm gonna get flamed for posting this since I've never even shot either a cocker or a mag, but I think you should go with a mag. Everyone argues which is better so there's no clear defining line in performance, but the mag is simpler to clean and operate and toy with from what I understand. And somewhat cheaper too!

Not really. You wipe your cocker down and lube the bolt after a game of play. Then every once and a while you cycle some oil through the marker.

and maybe time it also, which might i remind you, you dont have to worry about on a mag.
if i change trigger frames i wont have to re-time my gun!!! HAHA!!! :P
