I use to plaintball about 4 years ago and I owned a Spyder SE. I'm thinking of getting back into it and buying a Autococker. I've used them before but like I said its been awhile. I'm thinking about getting one from Bad Boyz Toyz Shocktech website. Only thing is I'm not sure exactly what to get... either on it or just buy seprate and add on myself. I have a few questions concerning this that I was hoping you much more experience owners of autocockers could explain to me.
Right now I'm looking at the Autococker Right Feed Gun (Item # GUN-002). Priced without barrel and regulator $849.00 . Gun includes chrome pneumatics.
I was wanting to get this gun in the Black to Blue to Silver Fade...
The DYE Boomstick Barrel and Black Ice Regulator (subject to availability) are a extra $200.00.
Add DYE Barrel/Black Ice reg: $1049.00
Is it worth this? Has anyone bought this gun from thier site? Also they aren't to precise about what all comes with it.. as far as Dye Sticky Grip which is shown in the picture and the cover for the pneumatics....
What is the best regulator for the autococker as far as working and looks goes...?
Also whats everyones opinion on either Center Feed or Right Feed??
Last what year or model is the Autococker that shocktech builds? Is it a custom body? etc...
Thanks you for reading this and I hope to hear a good response from you all..... :)

Shocktech is a good marker. I would get it centerfeed. I would also go with a gladiator reg, and a freak sysem for the barrel. They probably use a normal centerfeed autococker and mill it.

Remember these guns are custom anodized and from the looks of the picture they have the .45 Nickle grip that has been painted with the rest of the gun....
I just really want a nice autococker blue fading anodized with the nice .45 nickle grip and then the Dye clear Sticky Grip on it and i could just add stuff to it as i go.... I'm just not sure bout barrels and stuff... i was thinking just go with the ones Shocktech provides with the gun because they are all anodized too.... :confused :

How much better is the center feed or is it???
Also are the bodies of the guns any different... As I said before I've heard only good things about Shocktech but I can't see the gun that well on their site and its hard to really know what you are getting with the gun... you know what i mean??

The center feed is balanced in a way that your gun's weight is centered absolutely in the middle if you also use a drop forward. The Shocktech autocockers are nice. However, do not purchase the freak system. I have seen them in use and they are the biggest waste of money in the market today. (My opinion) As far as regs go, choose wisely. There are hundreds of different regs out there. Boomsticks are nice, however, for $50 you could purchase a lapco big shot or autospirit. Both of these barrels equal the dye in quality and accuracy. If you want a "cool dye logo" on your gun then go for the Dye.

Buying the gun alone without barrel and regis a good option to have, especially if you are into customizing the gun. this allows you to add the what ever barrel or reg you want, doing it right the first time. I would pick the centerfeed over the right feed, because I'm use to center feed markers, and in my opinion they look better. There are many different regs out there that function great, the Air America regulators are good, and so is the MacDev Gladiator. As for your barrel of choice, you have to keep in mind that it's all about what type of paint you shoot too. You don't have to spend big bucks to get a good barrel.

I have read several of liquid souls posts and im not impressed with the advice he gives. the freak is the absolute best barrel system on this planet to date. ive owned 1, kept it for about a year, play tourneys with it, LOVED it. this guy must not be smart enough to put the right insert in the barrel to match his paint or something...who knows... if you got the cash you cant go wrong with a free flow, danny love of BBT does great work...theyre custom cockers always shoot great... just dont buy an STO or any STO parts...youll regret it. hope this helped! (i dont intend to start a flame, just dont give bad advice...)

i will agree they have good rams, but theyre 3-ways really bite the big one. im partial to belsales and aka stuff personally. i try to stay away from STO and ANS parts, everything else is cool with me. i did use an STO ram on my last cocker and liked it. but thats the only part i did like (as far as STO stuff goes...).
