1) its preference
2) if you knew you would be flamed, why did you post it?
3) your sig is too long

I have an autococker just because it's hard for new users to understand. That way only the people willing to know thier gun will have an autococker. Otherwise they will instantly switch to an impulse or other marker after they find out the autococker needs attention. Even with a small drop forward (which I wish I could get rid of) it still has a lower profile than my bro's angel. Of course my minicocker is milled as small as reliably possible. My autococker confuses the heck out of everyone who sees it. Some people don't even know it's an autococker. The Jackal RDL body is truly an original design.
i was tryin to decide between 2k3 cocker and imp, and i chose imp.. you are deciding between mech and electro.. so i suggest you go shoot both, and see which feels best. since you are back, you might want to consider imp over outkast for the rof factor too...

i like the feel of autocockers better, but you can always upgrade the outcast's grip if you want an electronic one

Find a good used cocker if you can't borrow one to shoot, if you don't like it trade for a nice used impulse. If you don't like the impulse, trade for another. I'd just find a nice used marker to start at, and trade if you don't like it.

Impulse, faster, more consistant, lighter, better.

I second what cockerkid said
why get a more complicated gun that is inferior to a simpler gun that is superior?
just get an imp, you wont regret it.

It is preference, I personally would rather play with a cocker than an imp because I am more comfortable with them, their feel and their performance.... The votes don't lie ;) ... Cocker has my vote on this one...
(Had it been Outkast vs. b2k3 w/ pds it would have been a harder choice ;) )

Completely what Venom said, and my cocker is not inferior to many impulses I have shot, LordofthePaint...

In deed, your cocker > any imp (even in the looks department ;) ) ....
Try both and decide for your self, if you like the feel of the impulse go for it...
