phat barrel

HAS ne1 tried the phat barrel kit by ACI? Im looking into getting a new barrel kit but i dunno which to get. I am looking at the phat, freak, pipe, and empire empire. I am looking more towards the backs not inserts because i think it will be stronger. Which barrel kit OUT OF THESE would you guys reccomend. And tell me why not just that its better because that doesnt help at all. I really want to know about phat barrel thou. Thanks.

Don't buy into the hype man. You just need a couple good barrels at most (short and long one or different bores) or even just one barrel. I just don't think barrel kits are worth it. But thats just my opinion.

depends on if his gun is closed or open bolt, whether he uses the same paint all the time, or if he plays tournies where he doesn't know what paint will be availible.

i know i want a kit not seperate barrels otherwise i wouldnt have posted this.. so has ne1 used the phat barrel kit out there? I want a kit so i can match the feild paint and others... Which barrel would be best that ISNT a insert barrel?

i have heard sumwhere the pipe has a smooth coating inside that wears off after awhile. is that true?

y the pipe then y not the empire or the phat? whats so good about the pipe..... i have heard that the porting makes it clean better, but i shot my friends after a chop and it didnt seem 2 clean better than any other barrel.. what are the pros and cons of the pipe?

very small tolerances. very smooth. not really any useless sizes like a freak. evil's customer service is awesome.

do u have the pipe? if so u have ne problems w/ it? why not the other barrel kits?????? y is the pipe better when the phat barrel has 3 tips and 6 backs for like the same price? and its light and very smooth also?

I can't remember exactly why, but I do know a person who got the pipe system and he does not like it...... sorry can't give any more info than that.........

The Pipe is better because it's made better. ACI is crap, pretty much all they make is crap. Emipre kits aren't the best, and the freak is.... well, OK I guess, but the inserts there aren't the most trustworthy. If you want a kit, get the Pipe, Sceptor, or Longbow.

I pretty much saw bad reviews on the ACI kit. I have the F4 Illustrator and that thing is doing well for me but its pretty tricked out though. I also hear that the Equation USA kit is good.

why is aci crap? have you ever shot the Phat barrel kit? do u have it or know anyone who does? And where did u see the bad reviews for the aci kit because the one i saw a review for had only 1 REVIEW and that review was rated at 9/10.

please tell me more about the phat barrel IF you know what your talking about and also what makes the pipe better than the others? I kinda thought that if you bought a multi bore barrel it doesnt really matter which one you get because as long as you use good paint and have the rigth barrel to paint match then it will shoot fine. What makes the phat barrel crap because i dont understand why.

you need to also note that the review is one persons experience. since there is only one it isn't a very accurate depiction of the barrel. also note that most of the reviews on this site mean nothing.

i never said the aci kit sucked. and i posted my reasons for the pipe already. if he doesn't want my opinions, he shouldn't ask then.

The ACI kit is crap. I've shot it, along with most other kits/barrels out there. The Pipe is IMO the 2nd or 3rd best kit on the market. The top spot goes to the powerlyte scepter, but I guess you don't like inserts :rolleyes: anyway, then is either the longbow or pipe. Both are excellent kits. I give the pipe the upper hand because of the price. It's a good price, for a great kit, now just buy the god damn pipe already.

ya i ordered the pipe but what is so bad about the aci kit? if u just say it sucks and its crap that doesn't help at all. If you could tell me why maybe it would make sence but saying "The ACI kit is crap. I've shot it" doesn't help at all. thanks neways
