im gettin a better gu soon like in the next few months an idk what gun to get....i was thinkin along the lines of a dragunfly, or bushy, or action markers or somethin like that and around that price range (200-350)

I would say get the bushy + low end nitro = about 350. You'll have a good gun with great air efficiency that you can upgrade (plus it's a true electropneumatic).

By bushy you mean BKO. A BKO is good, then get nitro and a loader.

2003 bko all the way, its a solid gun at a great price. Then get a good tank and an egg or halo and some kinda barrel kit.

course, i hear good things bout the dragunfly. Performance of an e cocker for like 1/2 the price. Havent actually seen one yet though.

barrel kit, i know that the old bko detents were bad, not sure about the new ones. Thats, the halo and nitro are all youll need to start out with.

Make that post coherent, then I can answer your questions.

I understood most of it.

You will need a bottom line and asa because the BKO doesn't have one, but I wouldn't get a very big drop because unless you're getting a 88ci tank you'll just take away the ability to shoulder your marker. If you look at tourney pics alot of pros actually don't have huge drops on their guns. The BKO already comes with one macroline fitting by the way, so all you need is the line and an adapter on your asa. Don't get microline, it doesn't have enough flow.

The 2 regs you speak of on the BKO are the low pressure regulator (LPR) and the high pressure regulator (HPR). You need both in addition to the regulated input coming from your tank. So no the total of 3 regs isn't too much, but the LPR doesn't perform the same function as the other 2 regulators will.

I would recommend you not get a bulldog 3 reg because I hear they have reliability problems. I would get a crossfire, centerflag, or nitroduck.

As for the barrel, a 12 inch would be fine, but if you really want more advice in specifics go to the barrel forum and look at the stickies.

As far as drop manufacturers go, there are a lot out there and most of the time their products will work fairly well. For my automag, I use a custom products rail drop which puts the ASA right underneath my grip and I love it (I also bought the custom products ASA). I also have a custom products razor drop which I use on my model 98 custom because it's really too long.

I do recommend custom products, but if I were you I would go to my local shop with my gun and tank after I got it and try out a bunch of different drops/ASAs to get the feel for which is right for you, or see if you can try them out on the floor model guns they have in the store if you don't want to take your gun in.

By the way, I've heard some good things about the newer PMI pure energy compressed air tanks as well (a lot of guys on my local field are using them).

you might wanna get the gun and try playing with it before getting a drop forward. Ever since I learned to hold my gun right I stopped using my drop forward. There's alot of people out there that dont like them.

That's why I suggested the rail drop, it doesn't really move the tank forward so much as it places a nice on/off asa right below your grip.
