I've tried the freak on a cocker before, and though it isnt a shocker, I honestly think the freak is by far the best barrel (system) on the market. With the consistency of a shocker, and a good paint barrel match, you'll be stacking paintballs. I'd definately recomend it

Yeah... boomsticks work great for most types of paint...

I've use the 12, and I was very happy w/ it.
If I were to suggest 2 barrels to get with a shocker, i'd be the smartparts all american, and the boomstick..and one comes w/ the gun!

Those two barrel can cover most of the paintball spectrum.

Try a 14 in Xcel barrel. But test it before u buy it. It has a large bore so if u use small paint it could fall out. Or try an all american 14. On the subject of the Freak Set its a little steep in the price range 240$ at my local store for the whole set.

I was out playing today using my Shocker/16" stock SP barrel/Polar Ice. It was fine for a while but after it warmed up a bit, the paint was just rolling out the barrel.

I switched to my J&J 14" Ceramic and used it the rest of the day. It shot great. I still got to longball folx ;)
