ok....two springs......one is for the hammer...the other is a new valve spring.....you will need a valve tool to get the vavle out to put that new valve spring in....but you can just use your old springs if you want...for now.....
...it is either that or if they are the size diameter then they are two different main springs....on heavier than the other ....use which ever gets your marker in the velocity range you want without the adjuster screw set all the way in....

now the hammers....they sent you two?.....hummmm.....are they both the same size?...use the one that fits.....the screw should be the "lug" that you put into the hammer to catch the sear.....don't know what the "other little metal part is....can't think of what it could be off hand.....

ptflyer... thanks for the help.... but i figured it out before... they sent me a hammer and a mainspring and the thing that you screw the velocity in or out with, which looks like a second hammer but isnt.... the other spring must be the valve spring.. can i just use my stock valve spring with the new hammer?

no problem..........sounds like you're good to go......and yeah you can use both your old springs with that hammer....or just the new hammer spring with the old valve spring.....just check your velocity if you use the new hammer spring......to make sure you can get it to where you want it......

whats this little white nylon screw do on the hammer? Whats its purpose? Also, i tried to install the kit tonight and when i screwed in the Kapp cocking rod all the way the gun still wouldnt cock... any ideas why?

ok....if you can't cock the gun by pulling on the cocking rod- the hammer won't catch probably because you don't have the lug screwed down far enough to catch the sear...(one of the first steps in timing your marker....the lenth of the lug will determine when in teh trigger pull the hammer is released).....

the little nylon screw on the hammer is a set screw.... you tighten it just enough so that it is very stiff to turn the lug.....it will keep the lug from backing out but because it is nylon it allows you to turn and set the lug without damage to the threads on the lug......(hope you understand that..)
