I have some PB experience but I used to just use rentals and stuff but I now have a gun and I'm looking into getting a Smart Parts AA 14" barrel and I plan on either using the higher grade BE paint or the RPS Super Swirl paint. There aren't any fields or anything around here, only 1 PB pro shop and they are way overpriced b/c they really have no competition so I'm just gonna use good ole' WALLY paint. I was wondering how the bores of the AA barrel and the Super Swirl and BE paints match up. Will they be a good fit. I know the BE paint is Medium to Large but I dunno much about the Super Swirls or the AA barrel.

so as long as I get one with a medium or small bore I'll be in good shape, just don't get large bore? What about BE paint. If I get a medium bore barrel will that handel the medium-large bore BE paint with minimal breakage.

Hey, why did they lock my topic about you for mod? I mean, the least they could do is make you a mod on the Tippmann board. Something ain't right.

Hey man if you really are serious don't think about using the BE paint. Save up and buy a case of marbs or similar quality pain online. The super swirls are decent I guess...never tried them but their RPS right. Just out of curiosity...how much does your wally charge for 200 BE or 200 SS? PS...the all american is a good choice...they are nice :)

Oh ok trauma...I wasn't quite sure if they were the same grade as marbs...i know they look the same and both are made by rps. But I have heard that the ss were marb seconds...dont know if that is true though.
You could still probably get a much better deal online buying marbs or whatever paint you choose than if you bought it at wally...however it's nice to know that there is some decent paint there. If the super swirls are exactly the same as marbs then I wouldn't hesitate to get them over the BE's any day...infact even if they aren't I would get them over the BE any day...lol My favorite is still the allstars with the marb fill...if they even make those anymore... I'm still not sure where I bought them last! I'm gonna have to go to walmart this week and get some super swirls to screw around with.
I have a whole freekin case of zap here and they are to big for my barrel...maybe I can have some fun with my slingshot....maybe I should buy an extra barrel?

I have no clue how much they cost. I made a mad dash through wal-mart the other night for some stuff for school, it was like midnight, and I just decided to walk down the paintball isle to see what they had and I noticed something besides the BE and turned out to be the RPS Super Swirls...as to the price, I couldn't tell you, but I do remember a case of SS was just a few bux more than a case of BE (1000 rounds for each case). I'm not sure though if a "few bux more" was like $3 or like $10...all I remember is that they were about half the price as the paintballs at the ONLY pb pro shop in town. Of course he only sold ProBalls and some other kind which I forgot. About buying online, almost all sites say they aren't responisble for broken balls and that's just a risk I'm not willing to take.

you should try the Diablo/sherridan Visible impact paint. Those are medium bore, and if you got the black fron/black back AA then, those will fit better. The SuperSwirls are small/medium bore, with super hard shells, they hardly ever break when you want them to.

Damnit...livin in the boonies sux nutz. I either go w/ Brass Eagle, Super Swirls, or get my *** ripped off at the local PB Pro Shop. He only sells tournament grade PBs and he has them wayyyy over-priced. He's a 45-year old high school drop out trying to make a living off a PB pro shop in a town where only about 20 people play, but I don't know who they are. No, I don't really know anything about him, he is a nice guy, but his stuff is way over-priced...man, I feel bad about the mean stuff I said about him, he was such a nice man...I'm just a worthless piece of ****. I'm so shallow. So these seem to be my real options: A) Buy Super Swirls and have them bounce more than a fat womans titties on a trampoline. B) Buy Brass Eagles and have them curve more than a Porn Stars ***** (can I say that here? probably not) C) Buy some balls on-line at a descent price but risk having some or most or all broken during shipping and be stuck with a box full of grenade refill. Gimme your thoughts or opinions or flame me for the slanderous remarks I made. Take your pick, it matters not to me. I just got off work and I'm really tired, sorry to anyone I offended, but if you are a fat woman, paintball might not be your sport. But then again, I guess the paintballs would bounce off quite easily...easy target for those 100yard lob shots though......

Every "once in a while" you'll get a fresh batch of BE paint and it isnt all that bad, but usually they sit in the shelves at wal-mart for a couple months..

Hey I believe 888paintball will replace your case of paint...any paint you order from them if even one ball is broken. They double pack it and it's pretty dam good. Their prices aren't that bad and they have a ton of stuff. I don't feel like going to their web site right now but acording to the catalogue that I got in the mail bout 3 weeks ago they have:
32* competition (My local fields FP, not all that bad, and good for the price) 2000rd case for 39.88
32* Team colors (summer & winter fills, I don't know the diff, lots of color choices, I still prefer the comp over TC) 2000rd case for 50.88
Proball (never shot it but it has a very good rep for being one of the best) 2000rd case for 50.88 (would get this over TC for the price
Proball Platiunm (again, I've only shot maybe a hopper of this, It's suppose to be a little better than the reg proball, and comes in some better looking shells, their all shiny...lol) 2400rd case for 59.88
Zap Pro-Series (Ok well I have a case of this at home, It's a little big for my carbon fiber barrel but still shoots decent, I"m sure it would be great if I had a better barrel match, the white looks all jizzy when it breaks...lol) 2000rd case for 45.88 or 1000rd half case for 29.88
Zap Performance Plus (A little more consistant than the pro-series with a thicker brighter fill, I would get this over the pro-series, Kryptonizer is my fav color) 2000rd case for 46.88 or 2x2000rd cases for 88.88
I believe they also carry a very high end Zap tourney grade but it's along the lines of 100 a case. And I think they may have another brand that's not in the catalogue... go to www.888paintball.com to check it out.
They also beat a low advertised price by 10% and have fast shipping. I have bought several things from them, including my gun, mask, and barrel and got everything in a timely fassion.

Maybe the do too...I'm not sure I've never been to that site or ordered from them so i can't say.
Last time I ordered from 888 the case was dbl boxed and nothing was broken and i was happy. I was just at the site a couple days ago and as far as I know they still replace broken paint.
On a nother note, I went to walmart to get my hands on some super swirls, I also saw those diablo visible impact ones there. They come in a clear tube like the BE's but the look pretty good. There was almost no seam so I was gonna buy 500 of the super swirls and 200 of the VI. Guess how old you have to be to buy paint at walmart....18 Guess how old I am....16 Guess who didnt' get their paint... LMAO

LOL...was it one of those high-school drop outs that like to think they have some power by refusing to let u buy paint? Did you check out from the front or the sporting goods section? Or do u just have a small Wal-Mart? Most of the ppl at my Wally don't really care, I'm 16 and have had a view refuse to sell to me bc I'm 16, but I'll just goto another register and I usually find someone that either doesn't care or doesn't know.

Wow! I was looking at some older posts and saw a link to the Equation site and that new barrel system looks pretty awesome and it's only about $10 more than the best price I found on the Smart Parts AA. Do you guys think I should stick with the AA, or get the Equation? If it's worth the $10, I'm all for it. Also, do you HAVE to buy inserts for the barrel? Or can you just select your bore size and use that? These advanced barrels confuse noobs like myself.

I would wait and hear what people have to say about the new equation barrel system, but for now stick with the Smart parts AA.
