flatline fps

i was at the feild the other day and a guy had a 98custom and a syder compact. he said he wasn't using his tippman because the flatine barrel on it would only work effectivley if it were at 160-270 fps. (the speed limit at my feild is 250. is this true? cause if so i can't get a flatline.:(

flatlines work good with 250 but not the greatest you ay want to use a thinner shell paint like team colors

**** 260 is slow man. My field is 300 fps. I dont think any gun can do very good at that speed

Actually they do just fine at that speed. Velocity will not effect really how well the gun works until you get down to a certain level. The flatline will work the same as it does. With lower FPS you will devcrease the range but with the flatline it will still do what it was designed to do and put its spin on the ball. there will be a little decrease in reange but not compared to any other players if they are shooting the same FPS as you.
