A buddy of mine just stripped the threads on the "mini expansion" in his Shutter while putting in some stainless steel hose..... anyone know where we can get a new chrome mini expansion?

I would skip the x chamber and just buy a used WDP Regulator off a autococker owner for about 20 bucks. They work great on nitro and as well on co2.
What kind of mini x chamber was it?

Well I'm pretty sure you could get the stock mini x chamber through kingman. Check out their web site, e-mail them, or call them. You know the drill. I'm sure they can replace any stock part that came on your firends spyder.
If he has the money I would suggest getting an inline reg to replace the expansion chamber. The x chambers dont work all that well and the reg will greatly improve your friends performance. I know the shutters have a stock reg but they dont compare to the many after market regs that you can get. I would say for co2 go with a palmer stabalizer, or if he is on a buget tell him to try to get a wgp reg off someone's auto cocker. The perform very well on co2.
Say he would pay maybe $20 from kingman to get another x chamber. He could pay maybe $30 to someone selling a wgp on the forums here or at a local field and get better performance.
Just my 2 cents,
Chris

Hum...well I've never held a shutter...but from the pics it appears that the x chamber connects directly to the bodies vert air adapter. So I would say it should come out pretty easily. Maybe one of the shutter owners here could help you out. I don't know maybe kingman uses loctite on the threads.

step one: grab x chamber
step two: turn to the left
step three: use as a projectile to hurt ciblings.
the x chamber just screws into the VA adaptor. all you have to do is unscrew it.

Most everything's answered for you, I'm sure, but I'm going to make a correction in Saiyan_warrior's post... ;)
WDP regulators will not work well with CO2, this is why stock Angels should never use CO2. :) I dunno about Angels with a different inline regulator though... I've also seen very few WDP regulators on 'Cockers, I've only seen one or two of them before, never on the field though. I think you're looking for WGP, rather than WDP... ;)

the stock mini x-chamber on my tl+ was in there with super heavy loctite. i never even got it out. so i just bought a bob long va from first call paintball (http://www.firstcallpaintball.com) for $20. real good price. bbtpaintball (notice no hyperlink :D ) ripped me off and then were very unfriendly on the phone with them (not toll free). so anyway if you can't get it out you might want to get a new va.

You must have a TL then. TL+ have removable gas through forgrips/expansion chambers. TL Spyders have a one piece vertical adapter with gas through forgrip.
