I have a spyder fenix, and now I'm starting to think maybe I should have a bought a tippman a-5 sniper setup, but what I was wondering is the hopper on the side or right down the middle? Can you aim like any other weapon down the middle or do you have to look down the side like in other markers? I can't return my fenix now anyway, but if anything I guess I'll just start saving...:( but anyways, i like the look of it, it looks more comfortable to shoot like a real rifle with the stock and all and looks kinda like it has more range.

hmm, well if they are comfortable as they look with the carbine stock and all i'll probably start saving up for one, closest thing to an armotech. but i dont think my fenix is too bad.

If you have a local proshop go there and see if you can hold an a5 with a stock. Then you'll know if it's comfortable or not. You could also probably find someone at a local field with one.

I know what you mean about the vert loading. I dont like it.

I like to be able to have sights and aim without looking down the side of the barrel.

Even without a stock. I like the accuracy of being able to aim, although many times I dont have time to aim. I really like it when I am shooting at someone who doesnt know where I am. I got a 98Custom and I have shot people with 1 or 2 shots plenty of times because of this feature.

I dont like the military style guns. JMO. I like to be able to aim though. to me seems like the stock would interfere with my game.
