Do you know what the base of the skate oil is? That would be the only way we could tell you. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it probably won't work.
Go to countypaintball.com (http://www.countypaintball.com) and order up some Hoppes #9 gun oil, that way you won't even have to leave the comfort of home, you big couch potato.;)

you would be better off buying hoppes 9 at a store that sells guns, since it is in fact gun oil...

We have another shipment of Hoppes gun oil expected in this weekend. Should show up as "in stock" again on Monday.
Tippmann recommends Hoppes so that's all I use on my Tippmanns.

Just to be safe, I would go with gun oil like Hoppes 9 intead of Olive oil. You can get this stuff at Wal-Mart or other stores. So get off your %$^ and go get some!! hehehehehehe

olive oil bad!!! you dont want to use organic oils , only synthetic so you dont get any nasty residues forming inside your gun which would be bad.....especially if the oil had sugar in it..

I don't know but I wouldn't trust any other oil than GUN oil. It would be your decision but you would be taking a risk.

Trumpet vavle oil won't work, it breaks down too quickly. Especially if it was bad oil to begin with.
Just buy some smurfing Hoppes #9 and be done with it.
