other than a vertical adaptor, what else do I need to run Co2?

And what if I want to run my gun off of n2 instead? do i need the vertical adaptor and/or the Tippmann low pressure system?

You really need to research this more before you buy anything, I'd answer you but I really don't know what you want to do.

wha?? you don't need a vertical adapter to run on C02, you can just screw your tank in the bottomline. The vertical adapter is used for vertical tank setups or if you want to add a reg/X-chamber. If you want to save some C02 get your tank antisyphoned and get a good C02 tolerant reg, Ex: Palmer stab or Bob Long Torpedo

I want to add an expansion chamber, but what do I need to install one?

Scratch my original question, and just answer me this....

Do i need to buy a vertical adaptor to use an expansion chamber on my gun? I wont get an anti-siphon tube because tippmann's work with liquid co2, so I dont think that there is much of a point.

Also, what would be the recommended expansion chamber?

Just b/c a Tippmann handles CO2 better than most markers doesn't mean you should over look a basic effective upgrade like anti-siphon. The only reason I would tell you not to get a/s is if the tank is small like a 9 or 12oz or if it is the only one you have and you might have to put it on a different marker.

The short answer to your question about the X-Chamber is yes. I would reccomend the ACI sub-Zero 6 stage, or the 32* 2k3 6 stage(it's a copy of the ACI). However, the GTA 4 stage kit works well as well as the DOP X-Core 8 stage. If you get any one of those four you'll be in good shape. You score extra brownie points with us if you order from http://www.countypaintball.com good prices, BEST service, ever, period.

For historical purposes, I believe the 68 Carbine and the Prolite were both built to actually RUN ON liquid CO2. However the vavle design on the 98, 98C and A-5 is designed to specifically to counteract the effects of liquid CO2 reaching the gun.

Agreed completely as usual.
