14'' or 16'' barrel

Ive been looking at better barrels to replace my stock barrel, but im not sure wether to get a 16'' or 14'' night stick for my piranha sts g3. I ve heard that if a barrel is too long that friction slows the ball down, but i dont know if 16'' is too long.

12" or 14" are better, 16 is to long, but its your choice.
