I hate viruses but most of all I hate Trojans, Im on my other computer right now because my computer was infected with some kind of a Trojan. I was suspicious when my computer was running slowly when nothing was being run and opened my task manager and saw a program that was called "RSVP.exe". However, this Trojan terminated my Internet settings so my computer has no access to the Internet. I looked it up on this computer an followed removal instruction and when I restarted the computer freezes at the desktop screen!!! Im running Windows 2000 with Mcafee Virus Scan( Wasn't Detected), and also scanned my computer with Spybot, and nothing was detected either. There is very little information on this Trojan and limited support. Im freaking out because it seems no one knows whats going on and how to get my computer back?
Anyone have any suggestions, feedback, help?
Anything will do!  :eyes:

And Mcafee sucks total balls, go with norton.
Download the cleaner ( http://www.moosoft.com/thecleaner/cleaner4.exe ), chances are it will remove it.
And go easy on Kazaa, id bet thats how u got it.

Norton is horrible also. Get Zonealarm. www.zonealarm.com
You will probaly have to re-format your drive.

No, if you want a firewall get something hardware based, preferably programmable.
You will probaly have to re-format your drive.
Another no, if he properly cleans his computer he will not have a problem

If he has something hardware based it'll be really hard to do anything on the internet.

Tried it, I transfered the progrma via Disk and ran the scan and nothing detected, and my computer is running like its a 100mhz, and that program rsvp.exe does not want to shutdown and when I downloaded software to kill it, it restarts itself  . I found out that rsvp.exe is supposed to be a windows file, but its not supposed to be a running process. Chances are that this is a new trojan, thats why its hard to find any kind of removal processes. Im not sure what else I can do at this time. I scanned my comp with Mcafee, Adware, Spybot, Cleaner4 and nothing helps.
Its sorta frusterating :| :pissed:

Zonealarm is only a firewall it doesn't detect virus if they are on your computer it is good to have both norton and Zonealarm
