Barrel Installation

I'm getting ready to buy a barrel for my M98 Custom and I was wondering how much work is involved in the install. I've heard there is a lot of work to the Flatline barrel and you have to be very precise...are all barrels like this? Do you have to screw all these barrels on with screws?
