Has anyone heard about a PG1 pro on the acepaintball.com website? It is for $40 and I might get it. But I don't know how good it is.

Its 40 bucks man....what are you really expecting. I don't mean to sound rude or anything but really....40 bucks. It looks like the old mirages. really man...save up a bit more and get yourself a spyder or something that is at least decent and will help you out on the field.

I've seen it and it comes with bottomline, x-chamber, and a custom barrel. Not to mention, all metal body. I was just curious as how it shot. I'm a little uncertain of how a $40 gun will do.

They're pretty nice. I got one off eBay. Put a few rounds through it before I sold it to my buddy (for a small profit). I didn't have any probs with it & neither has my friend. The body is a cheaper type of steel but is durable. Makes it a little heavier than it's relatives (it's a Spyder clone/knockoff). I don't know how the stock barrel shoots though. The one I got had a SP Boss Progressive on it. Shoots great with the SP BP. The expansion chamber is decent. With the neoprene grip on it, the gun is very comfortable. The hardline hose should hold up for a long, long time. The one I got came with a venturi bolt. I don't know if it's the stock bolt or not. Anyway, it performs very well in it's class (Spyders, Rebels, etc.). Like I said, the steel body makes it a little heavier than other guns but the gun isn't heavy by any means. I can one hand it very easily. Should take most Spyder parts. Overall, good gun. Worth more than $40 in my opinion.

Go for it, if anything give it a trigger job and got use in for front in speedball, scratch it up, treat it like trash, see if your dissregaurd for it leads to you playing better w/it.
