Just wondering what good are pistols for a rec player, if they at all good what are ok brands to get and what Co2 or compressed air

Personally id invest the money into your spyder. If you take care of your gun and have a pack, there wont be any real need to carry a backup. Some people like to play with them as a primary to sharpen their skills. From the reviews ive read, the zues is the way to go for semi, and the PGP is the way to go for pump.

PGP or Zeus probably work, but like Lament said...keep your gun clean and you will be fine.
