i want one of those battle swabs, they seem to look like they work well (you can squeegie with out unscrewing the barrel)
...but how to store the battle swab? I have a redz 2.1 demension pack, it might fit the the folded elastic, but probably not. i might have to modify my pack a little to make a holder for it...any suggestions on how to store it??

stick it in your pocket. your battleschwab should fold in the middle by a little piece of rubber, just fold and shove in there. no reason to worry bout it falling outta your pack, and it doesnt get in your way.

Put it in your tank cover, if you have one, or stick it in your mask's strap.
I always carry mine in a pocket.

I am pretty sure I know what you are talking about......
But how does it work without taking off the barrel>? Can someone explain?

The swap, that's the one that has a bushy swap on either end of a stick. if you get a break, first, turn your marker upside down and fire any paintballs that might be in the chamber. while holding it upside down, push the swap into the barrel, all the way back to the bolt, twist and turn it a couple of times and pull it out. You don't want to swab if you have a paintball in the chamber cause you might bust or break it and cause even more problems.

how does it do that without pushing stuff back into the bolt?
Thanks,

That is why it is called a battle swab. It is designed for battle purposes. You will not have time (in battle) to complete a field stip , let alone a full break down to clean a chop. The big fuzzy thing will soak up your problem. If it does not solve your problem, you don't need a battle swab. You might want to check to check your equipment. Unless you are on Full auto and are spraying and praying and did not catch the malfunction, a simple single or double chop should be cleaned by, first ---the upside down dry fire method. If UFO's or shot gun blasts are still flying- then a it is time to swab the barrel. Make sure the chamber is empty---if not you might pop the zit that is in the chamber--making your malfuction even worse.( do it right the first time)
Fold the swab in half..stick the fuzzy ends in your pocket first. This will allow a quick draw for its use. Cargo pants and BDUs have side pockets for its storage.
Good luck and Stay low

Thanks,
when the marker is upside down, after firing any paintballs that might be in the breech ... fire a couple more times, this will help clear some of the busted paint and shell outta the barrel and bolt.
