Guys I just got my A-5 yesterday and have the RT on it and just got finnished playing my 1st game! But when ever I held down the trigger I either got one ball per trigger pull or maby I would get like a burst round or a round of 6 bps. How do you get 15bps or like full auto or just anything fast? I got Like 4,6,maby7 bps but thats after along time of just shooting. Other then that it is the best gun i have ever used(i have only used like 5 guns) Thanks alot guys I really do not know much and appritiate the help!

Fiddle with the gas flow into the piston(turn it up), also don't pull when you try to sweet spot, just get your finger right to the spot where the trigger trips the sear(not a full pull) and try to hold it there.

I little bit of practice and you'll get it goin'

you HAVE TO ADJUST THE GAS CONTROL which is a little screw on the grip frame. Thats how it cycles faster

shuld i make the big screw tighter on the co2 or losser on the co2? then it will shoot faster at like 15 bps or even 10 bps?????????????????

i think we are talking about the wrong part of the gun...it has nothing to do with the tank or asa. on the right side of the gun, there is a screw coming out of a flow adjuster assembly. It has the small, plastic hose coming out from it. Un screw it a little to go faster, until you get what you want

you may have the same problem that I had.

Dont overtighten or you may strip the threads.

There is a small screwdriver that came with my kit, but when I turned the small screw in the adjuster it moved the whole large screw assembly. The problem on mine was that the flow adjustment screw was way too tight and I couldnt adjust air flow. Be sure and check the air flow adjuster screw. It is really two screws in one.

I had to hold it with a small wrench and turn the small screw HARD counter clockwise and it came loose. Now it screws in and out easily to adjust air flow.

My RT is for the 98custom so i dont know if it is the same as the one for the A5.

But, look in the instruction manual, assuming you installed it yourself. There is the flow adjustment screw that allows you to turn it to the right (less CO2) or to the left (increase CO2).

What I am trying to tell you is that the flow adjuster is two screws and your air flow adjustment may be so tight that it is difficult to loosen (increasing air flow and Rate of fire).

On mine the screw that was too tight was the tiny one that is screwed into the flow adjuster screw. Remember it is one tiny screw inside of another screw, therefore it is a two screw assembly. ***it is the small screw where the shut off screw goes*** This may not be your problem, I dont know. If you still cant get it working right, call tippmann or a local shop and ask for help.

OR maybe you just need to practice how to pull the trigger with the RT. I can do it fine, but when I let people shoot my gun, they cant do it right. Lightly pull on the trigger.

Thanks alot I played to day for like 6 hrs and I was shooting fine. I went to my local Paintball Shop and asked, the guy fix the adjestment and now I was shooting at my friends with 15 bps. Wow this thing is great My team won. Any way also another question I have is. Does the RT make it shoot faster rate if you just pull-pull-pull? Like Semi? Is it faster then when without it? thanks

Faster if you just hold your finger in one spot and let the trigger bounce back and forth, just give it a light squeeze until you get a shot and then just let it "run-away" until you either come off the trigger or squeeze it in all the way.
