a new barrel like a custom products 1 peice or a lapco bigshot or a j&j ceramic or the flatline. a vertical adapter kit, a expansion chamber or if you have enough moolah, get a palmer stabalizer and your tank anti siphon'd. then mabey a reapsonse trigger and a e hoper like a revy or a reloader or a halo odysee.
that alot of stuff i pretty much put em all in oerder 2, kinda.

well, id say:
first: new barrel like custom products, dye, j&j, smart parts.
second: double trigger
third: electronic loader
fourth: palmers stabalizer

I'd say just upgrade the gun to fix whatever problems you see, and would like to improve, why else would you upgrade?
Personally for the 98c I'd say do this:
Anti siphon
CP 1 Piece
A reloader\Rico AK\Halo TSA whicever hopper fits you best
A double trig
Than your done, stop upgrading and than decide what you would like to do in pb. Such as max out your 98, buy a new gun, or whatever. Dependent upon what you would like to do in pb.

For my .02:
Anti-siphon, first if you have a 16oz or larger tank, if you have a smaller tank you may want to keep it normal so if your 98 goes down you can use it on a different marker. Get a 16oz or a 20oz and get that antisiphoned.
Barrel, there are quite a few choices, do some research, the Barrels and Paint ultimate sticky has many threads that compare almost any two barrels you could think of head to head.
E-Hopper, I recommend the Empire ReLoader, or the Rico AK.
Double trigger.

:nod:yup pretty much what they said
anti siphon (unless you want to go the remote path)
barrel (stock isnt horribly bad, but aftermarket barrels are much better)
E loader - ricochet/reloader/revvy/halo TSA/egg2/halob...whatever you want as long as it can feed sufficiently
double trigger preference if you like the double triggers or not
VA - so you can hook up either an expansion chamber or regulator
Regulator - palmers stabalizer appears to be the best for a tippmann, because they need a relativly high input pressure (800PSI) so there are only a few regs out there that go that high...ergo, palmers, max flo i believe
then you can either add some more to your tippmann (ebolt, low pressure...etc) or save up for a next marker

Get a new barrel!!!! If you don't want to spend too much, then get a J & J Ceramic or Dye Xcel...Or if you do...get Dye Boomstick or Ultralight...and also get double finger trigger...the one finger trigger sucks lol....then nitro lol but nitro is expensive...:/

I'd get a barrel before antisiphon. Lapco Bigshot, CP 1 piece, SP Teardrop are my favorites (cept for the stealth)

If i got a 98 custom the first thing that i would upgrade would be the barrel go with a labco bigshot or flatline then get a remote kit or stock then go for some new bolts.

lapco bigshot,
and single finger triggers dont suck, that is all preference. I prefer single finger trigger.
But, I got the RT though. w/o the RT I would recommend a double trigger. Not for the first upgrade though. You will probably be needing a faster hopper if you shoot fast w/ a double trigger.

A new bolt does nothing for the 98.

definitly barrel first then play a few times then see what your gun need ex. rate of fire, consistancy, ect.

And how did it do this? Everything happens for a reason, so if it did improve your accuracy it must have done something to of improved it.

Makes it so the air hits the ball evenly everywhere....figured you would already know this....
Maybe you guys should buy it and try it out. You cant go wrong, its only $10-$15.

The air already hits the ball evenly. If it's more accurate it might be about 2cm tighter shot pattern, tops.

in Socom6789's case, a new bolt DID increase his accuracy, skill, whatever u wanna call it. see, BEFORE he played WITHOUT the new bolt, he wasent as skilled at aiming his gun. after he installed the bolt, he played again. this time...he bettered his aim...and THOUGHT it was the bolt that was making him play better, only because he was just suckered into spendin cash that was useless......hehe:)

Don't do that setup, you'll chop like mad. Get the ehopper before the double trig, or do what I said.
And about the bolt, thats just an accuse to sell more bolts. Bolts can only increase effciancy or blowback.
