IM sure theres plenty of these threads but im too lazy to search besides i prefer a personal response okay well me and my friends ahve been playing for a year now and our local field (FireballMountain) is supposedly having a touney in march we play out law everyother week and at the feild everyother week so were playing at least once a week and we really want to do the tounament but we feel it will be a waste to play 3 games getting owned there is young gun-older divisions and then there is beginner--novice-baller oibviously we should go to the young guns begginner section but what should we expect will the other teams hve touney experience? some people tell me the beginner section has tons of advanced teams playing just to win the prizes how can we prevent this? but in general how can we be prepared and what should we expect

rookie, unless theres a young guns division there, rookie is for people that have been playing tournament ball for under 2 years

play rookie.
There is no gaurantee that there will not be sandbaggers (aka people who are poo faces and come down a rank just so they can win stuff). Many of my rookie tournaments that i played in were full of novice teams, and even some amature guys showed up.

yeah , some guys play down a level so they can just win prizes, thats just wrong, play in ur level and earn them... but any ways expect to play hard and aggressively , to run slide and bunker harder than any other rec. game you have every played before. Just have confidence and dont be intimidated and you should do fine, oh and dont forget to bunker some noob for me whyle ur at it
