currently have a tippman Pro Carbine and I just got enough money to where I can ditch it for a better gun or upgrade the pro carb. What should I do? (If I should ditch it what for and why?)
(If I shold upgrade what should I do and why?)

Well it matters how much money you have and how much money you are willing to spend. I say since no one has Carbines any more and I dun think they are that cool (Sorry to carbine owners out there! sorry sorry!) I say ditch it and get a new gun

If you want a cheaper but good semi. Look into the Model 98 or Spyder's.

If you want a high end semi and have more than 300 dollars to spend get a Autococker or an Automag

it's all in preference. Feel free to ask me questions

It depends on how you play and where and what you want.

If you love the procarb keep it and love it.

If you walk on the field and feel the need to hide your guncause it is not as flashy as other ppls ditch it.

One thing is fact the procarb is a great gun.

I have a pro-lite i am tweeking right now and since it has now a 45 grip it is basically a procarb. Personally I like to shoot ppl who think they out gun me but have no skill. Granted i do have a trick micrococker but i play with all my guns. I love tweeking unique guns. In short i'd keep the procarb.

Keep it if you like playing with it and if you think its time for a new gun then get the new gun. But just be aware that the money that you would put into the procarbine to upgrade it will not keep anywhere close to its value if and when you try and sell it.

My Step-Bro has a Pro/Carbine marker.
He has put abunch of upgrades on it, including a 14" Dye Stainless steel barrel. It shoots as straight as any other gun ive seen. We just got back from a road trip to a field across state this weekend and he was very happy because he got some guy with an angel, who was spraying paint like mad out. He was glad to show that guy that its the person behind the gun, not the gun.

To quote him, "Pro/Carbine dominates all!!!"

Haha, well I dont know about that, but one thing is for sure, the pro/carbine has a terrible trigger pull. Its somthing insane like 10lbs. Ive shot his a few times and it is VERY different then my c98. I keep telling him that he needs to do somthing about his trigger because when we are playing each other and we are both behind a tree or an object shooting at each other its usually pretty even with him usually alittle better, but if we are both on the run, I get him about every time.

I prefer the anodizing on the Carbines [pro and 68], the barrel selection is not as good [get a dye boomstick and you will not need very many other bore sizes, lighten the trigger with a tippmann pump trigger spring [$2] from Tippmann, forget the x chamber and go with a Palmer Stabilizer [ use a remote when it gets cold], Polish the internals and play against anyone anywhere...... Is it just me or does the M98 paint chip ???
