Can ice break paint?

I was shooting my gun today and all of the sudden i was blowing paint left and right, it was cold outside and i had my tank hooked up to my gun with no siphon tube or anything, like remote. So I put my tank under my blankets for a while (I have heated Water bed) and in like 30 min i got my tank and noticed it was alot heavier, or alteast felt that way but when i knoked it it sounded like all the liquid was gone on the inside i hooked that up to my gun and shot of a good 100 rds with no busted paint or studders, was the ice that was getting into my gun blowing the paintballs, or do you guys think that it was just because the gun was cold?

It was the liquid CO2 in your gun, the heat helped it expand into gas, thats why it shot better.

Basically liquid co2 increased your velocity, and that caused you to break

does this happen to every gun? So if I put my remote to my mauder do you think it would stop it from blowing?
