New gun!

I'm torn between the Timmy and Impy...Of course im on a very limited budget and can barley afford timmy but i can. The impy is smthn i know and can get good help with...its more reliable and w/ the money i save i can some up grades. But the timmys got it all. keep in mind i play front. I am asking totally unbiased opinions here. Tanx

I love my timmy. Is it better than an impulse? Yeah it is. But I've got a teamate that shoots an impulse and it's not a bad gun by any means. If you're going to get an intimidator, you will still need money for a regulator, drop forward and (strongly suggested) a nitro tank. There's no sense in totally busting your wallet if you cant afford it. The timmy is the best gun available, but if you cant afford one there's no reason you wouldnt be happy with an impulse vision or even a stock impulse.

I've used both. I really like the Impulse. However, I like the Intimidator a LOT more. I don't even know how to put it into words. It just FEELS so much better.

You mention the Impulse being more reliable. I know a lot of people who would argue that. Both can have problems, but both are also pretty reliable most of the time. The big factor is that if you have a problem with your Intimidator, Bob Long's customer support is top notch. I've had less than helpful responses from Smart Parts.

Of course, the best thing is to shoot both and decide for yourself. I realize that's not always an option for everyone. If you're looking for opinions, that's mine. Whichever you decide, enjoy!

I pretty much have the same opinion as ElTwitcho. And given the cost.. an Impulse with the vision eye jacks the cost up pretty high, but the Impulse comes with the max-flow which will allow Co2. But realistically, I wouldn't put Co2 through any electro.. Wel I wouldn't anyway.

Personally, I've used both, and I prefer the Intimidator.

Bing, Timmy! If that's an djustable tank you can avoid buying a reg for a while (or you can not buy a reg at all if you dont do the LP mod)

Yeah but the Gladiator looks so cool on the Intimidator. Plus it makes a nice foregrip.

dragster. Get the impy. It will perform very well. It is a nice gun for its price but like others said don't barely be able to afford the gun and have it sit around and not use it cause you dont have $ for the extras.

i say go for the impy. if u can barely afford a timmy, how da heck are u gonna get paint? air? entrance fees? im gonna get a blue impulse, ith vertcal reg setup, chrome shocktech, and a WERMSTICK BABY!!!! man i've shot both guns...and the impulse is just great.
