Hey All-

I am looking to get a new marker and I have narrowed my decision down to two guns:

The Bob Long Lasoya and the Thunder Impulse Vision

I play a lot of Rec Ball and eventually want to get on a paintball team and tear it up. Which of these two guns is the best choice for me to continue rec ball and get play competitively?

Thanks -

T-

Spyder E-99 Avant

Gun blows - The drop off is horrible and I get no distance

upgrading the avant would result in better performance but if you're set on buying a new one... timmy.

Try out the markers first. It really sucks when you spend $1000< on a gun and then hate it.

Get the Timmy. This guy at the 3-man yesterday threw his $1500 Species to the ground because two kids with Spyders (me and my friend Josh) beat him. With $75 and $200 Spyders. LOL

I am willing to send up to $1400 on my marker.

The gun is only 25% of the game. The rest is skill. Spyders are ok guns and you can crush most amateurs. But if your playing someone with a Timmy, Angel or Impulse that have the skills, you will torn apart like a virgin on prom night.

For either of those guns, don't forget to factor a nitro tank into your gun costs. If you have the money then go for the Timmy.
