Hey I needed some help I may think about getting a 2k4 bko. I was wondering... At shootpaint.com it said that u can send in ur old ram. I was wondering 2 things.
1. Do u get any money off (if so how much?) or are there any other benefits for this option.
2. Is the SP mod worth it? How well does it work and what do people think of it?
Thanx in advance!:)

If you send it your ram it will cost you $55.

If you buy a new ram it will cost ya $82.

If you send in your ram, select the "Send In Your Ram" and then make payment on it like you would if you were ordering the "New Ram".

Turn around time is usually around 2 weeks.

As for performance...it greatly reduces chops. I never had my old BKO chop on me, but I have heard of it chopping like once every 2-3 cases. Still...that is nothing.

If you have any more questions LMK.

If you can take the ram you you can install it once you get it back.

Basically, you unscrew the 4 tray screws and disconnect the blue hose that goes to the ram. Unscrew the solenoid and then remove the ram. Its rather simple.

Another thing...have you ordered your BKO yet? If not, buy it from shootpaint and add the SP Mod on. That would be your best bet.

I noticed you said you dont have 2 weeks...if you dont have your gun, be prepared to wait. BKOs are one of the hottest guns right now and are kind of hard to get your hands on.

if you don't have blowback and your chopping you must be outshooting your hopper.

I wish it was 2 weeks...been like 2 months:( And really? No chops? Because my friend just bought your BKO and he was ripping on it the other day and he started chopping like mad. We had a halo on it and were using Evil paint.

Well maybe its just because he was ripping insanely fast. And yeah, 2 months. I am really frustrated with shootpaint right now, my baby has been in pieces for way to long. I wish he would answer his phone/emails. I am almost getting ready to call the Better Business Bureau if I cant get in touch with him soon.

I was talking to MicroB. He said he got it working and he went through a whole case with no chops.

I hope Travis gets your ram on the way.

Yeah it seemed like it was getting better at the end of the day. Maybe it needed some breaking in? Yeah I hope so too, I miss having my gun in one piece :bawling: Thanks
