Ok I am a little ticked. First off I have a CMI tru-flight/thunderpig whatever they are. anyway, I broke a ton of paint with diablo blaze. they fit the barrel and should by the charts, work. my friends have this same barrel, and they didn't break any.
I am willing to spend up to like $90 to put an end to this crap. I WANT A BARREL THAT WON"T BREAK PAINT! how bout the 32 degrees carbon fiber?

Well, make sure you clean the barrel after you break the paint. You should let the paint sit in open air at room temp for at least 24 hrs and rotate the box. Blaze have a tendency to stick together and as most lower qualilty paint have more dimples and such. This could also cause more breakage. There may be something wrong with the barrel. Try some different paint, make sure you baby the barrel and keep it clean, and see if that makes a difference. Try a few different things and if nothing works, send it back for a new one. Also try one of your friends barrels and see if you have the same problem. If you still break balls, your velocity might need to be adjusted.

You might chopping balls by shooting to fast or the honing of your barrel is messed up inside.

I got my carbon fiber when they first came out...couple years ago. That thing never breaks paint that is matched to it. Ok so it breaks some 32* comp that is laying around...what do you expect. I shot half a case of zap that I had laying around for almost 2 year in my closet the other day (got it for chrismas of 99 and forgot about it). Didn't break a freggin ball.

I shot 2000 rounds of Blaze paint over the last couple of weeks. I use a Micromag with a Palmer's regulator, BOA barrel and a VL 2000. I never broke one ball. As a matter of fact some of the Blaze bounced off a few rocks without breaking. I was shooting at 285fps. It funny how one paint works for someone and not someone else. I guess it's like a car, you don't want to get one that is made on Monday or Friday. Maybe the same goes for paint.
If anyone reads this I would like to know if you have problems with Blaze being so tough.
Thanks.
