Well im considering buying an impulse, as the current gun isn't cuttin it anymore, and i have a few questions. Please excuse me if i sound noobish. I have read every sticky, and Wolverines FAQ already, so i have a basic idea of what i want.

1)WAS Equalizer and Vision
I probably wont be ordering any new gun until at least February or march, so i was wondering if i should get a regular impy with no vision, and also buy a WAS, or just get a regular impy with vision. My main concern is if i do the first option, will i need to get a hole for the eye to be put in. If i get this done at my proshop, how much do you think it would cost. I want the WAS, because it sounds great, but i don't know if i should just get the regular vision instead.

2)FSDO
I read Wolverines FAQ, and it seemed a bit outdated (?) and i was wondering if SP has fixed this problem. Or if i get the WAS board, will that fix it completely?

3)Shocking the solenoid
I read something about shocking the solenoid in Wolverines FAQ, and i was wondering if this is still a problem. I didn't get exactly what it was from the FAQ, so if someone could explain it again to me that would be great.

4)Pressure Relief Valve
Wolverine said these were like an insurance for your gun, and since i don't want to blow a solenoid, i was thinking i should buy one. Can someone please explain these in further depth? And how much do they cost. I didn't see them on pbgear.

5) i heard somewhere that the trigger is kinda sloppy, and that should be the first thing i replace. Is that true, and if so what kind of trigger should i get?

Well if you are goin to get WAS then get vision but if not you should not worry too much about getting it cause u wont be out shooting your hopper too much, but you should get vision ne ways in case you ever do get WAS.

The stock Trigger is sloppy and the trigger many get is the Eclipse Blade, i think its sumwhere around 30$ but i have shot one and it is nice.

Also my cousins neighbor has an IMpy and his feedneck has fallen off twice in a game, so he just bought a screw on feedneck and that problem is fixed.

WAS comes with its own eye. I dont want to spend the extra cash to buy a vision, if im just gonna buy a WAS later.

1.WAS comes with an eye, therefor thered be no point in getting a vision board. Definetly just get WAS. Order your gun from EPBO, theyll set up the was before they ship it out and then test it to make sure everything is working good. Cant get much easier than that.

2.With WAS, FSDO is not obsticle.(sp?)

3&4. Shocking the selenoid is really hard to do when you have a pressure relief valve, now the reason you didnt see them on PBGear is because all impulses come with them. ;) What happens is, if the pressure gets to high, instead of it all getting to the selenoid, the pressure releif valve blows and lets some of the air out, therefor giving you time to fix the problem, and adjust your pressure. As long as your not a total idiot, you shouldnt even have to blow the pressure relief valve, just make sure your pressure is right at all times. (This coming from the guy who put his reg together wrong, and blew his PRV :P )

5.Definetly will be wanting a blade trigger, check out the newest New Designs trigger, looks as if it would be real nice. Once again, if you order your gun from EPBO and buy the trigger at the same time, they set it up and adjust it to the right length for you.

Remember, www.e-paintballoutlet.com is your best friend when it comes to impulses.

Thank you sIc, thats exactly what i was looking for.

Im pretty cheap, and at EPBO they charge $35 for color, while at pbgear, there is no extra charge. From what i hear its not to hard to install the WAS, but i would have to get a hole tapped for the eye if i got one from pbgear right? does anyone know how much that would cost to do at a proshop? And does anyone else have any input on types of triggers?
