Do you think it would be good to get a sight? Like an Adco E-Dot or something?

I dont recomend it..I used to have one(when i was a newbie) and all it did was get in the way and hinder my Snap shots..not worth it..Save the money and buy some paint

:pissed: :pissed: when you know that you are going up against a person with a semi or an automatic gun and he knows your location. that is what an automatic trigger is for get your sites set and start cocking that pump and get him crouched and then make your move to get out of the situation or bunker him. i have done both and it is an adrenaline rush

yah but if you have stock class your kinda screwed. cuz you have to "rock and cock" your phantom not to mention that you only have from 10-15 balls or less. scary! just good tactics can take anyone out.

yah...3 balls a sec would be hard tho. hehe. i guess just getting good cover from your team mates and using good bunker work should do the trick.

1) pre-empt your 12gram going dead. Learn to count shots and change 1-3 rounds before it starts to drop off. Timeing is everything. If you can change under fire, you can change anywhere.

2) Don't bother to pocket your now empty tubes, at $1.00 for 10, I just dump them as I run. The newbies love pickign them up and most field owners wont mind if you ask first.

3) Learn to snapshoot. The key to pump play is hitting first shot. Dont rush the shot if you have cover. take your time, watch for the reload and get them then.

4) Don't give up easy. Pump play is hard at first. It will come to you with practice

5) ALWAYS goggle shoot people with angels. It just realy pisses them off. Espectialy when you do it from a snap shot.

i have tried crouching in one position with my gun and camo for about 30 minutes to get my knees ready for the long times you spend in a position waiting for that perfect shot

Learn to shoot (snapshots, longball, etc.), flank, crawl, tree (or bunker) walk, and general sneaky *******-ish techniques...
And most of all, NEVER give up, it'll make you a stronger player (but that's the case w/any sport)

W/practice, you can double-tap your VSC like a semi... trust me on this... ^_^

what do you mean by double tap zen? do you think offensive pump playing against semi's is a good idea? or bad?

double tapping... have the gun cocked when you break cover, then shoot-pump-shoot really quick and drop back into cover... you can 'cheat' a little bit w/the phantoms, since the stock breech kinda holds the ball over the bolt, so as long as you keep the gun level, you can practically autotrigger that second shot ^_^
with practice (MUCH practice), you can get off two shots, practically semi-auto fast, and if your snapshooting is accurate, you'll have two balls on the way over to that semi player who's leaning out because 'it's only a pump player'

I'm all for playing hard when running stock class... put my VSC or my cocker in my hands, and my game doesn't change at all, aside from the volume of paint I tend to throw.
Granted, no, you can't put up walls of your own cover fire, but you can still play hard, and when you tag a guy, it's that much better. Just play SMART, and you'll rack up the elims.

Here's a hint from the stock ninja's playbook: You know that you can't match the paint tossing that a semi-player can, right? They know that too. More often than not, that guy will tend to lean out and hang a bit more when going toe to toe w/a stocker, since he 'knows' you won't hit him w/that one or two balls. Practice your snapshooting and general accuracy, and you'll send the angel boys home tasting your paint. Trust me, after a while, those fancy electros won't bother you, or your game

What I would do in a situation is stop moving and stop firing. The key to pumpgunning is sniping. The human eye is drawn to motion, so for the love of god stop moving. Woodland(army camo, BDU's, military camo.etc.) is your best friend. It blends in Darn well almost anywhere. And if he is a pro with an electro, go for the goggle. And if your so inclined, a semiautomatic sidearm(ie Punisher, PT enforcer etc.) Is good to if your not a dedicated pumper.
Hope this helps
Kyle

that's good advice... even on a speedball field, it often pays to NOT move or shoot... let 'em all forget you're there and back door 'em

that is very true advice. not moving at all is a very good strategey that requires lots of balls! watching ppl with automatics walk right by you and even look in your general direction. but when they walk by you and then they feel the sting on their back oh it is very much worth it:D :D :D
