Well Cerial, They do go together! I've got'em (working together) and really like it. What kind of feed tube is on your marker is it vertical? I've used them on both my (Spyder power feed, and Impulse vertical) markers and had better luck without the elbow! It seems to put extra stress on the elbow when you're slammin' the pod into the collar. If you don't have the collar you will have to pull the (for lack of a better word?) 4 skin (sorry!) back on the pod and pour your paint into the hopper. Why didn't you get the collar?

i have a tippmann 98 custom. i didn't want to get the collar because i heard there is trouble when u try putting them on 12v revvys. I dont have the speed pods yet i was either gonna get those or just get 140's, but i am out of cash and dont have money to get a speed collar, maybe if i get more money i will get it but im not sure because of problems i heard about them not fittin on 12volts.

Oh ya one more question, do regular 140 pods work ok in the harness?

Yes they should work but why do you want 140? 120rnd is good enough.. Revolutions and most other hoppers only hold 180 rounds.. and 120 seems to be a perfect size for me.. THey do have 140rnd (or i thought it was 150rnd?) extentions.
yes they will fit into the harness, but I recommend only having two of these extended speedpods at first, and then if it seems that you use a lot of paint before you reload, then you can get more extentions.. But the extended pods will fit in the pack, along w/ standard style pods. (You dont have to have speedpods)
Why get the collar? It seems to me it would just get in the way and is a waste of $$. Sure its nice to just slam your pod in there, but how hard is it to slide back the """"FORESKIN""" (hah) on the pod and then dump it? You can still reload w/ one hand even w/o the collar..
The collar is just too big and bulky and expensive for me..and i woudl probably get distracted by it.
But i love the speedpods and pack. You can actually throw the speedball pods far w/o them bustin open.
