what do you think the factory should do different to amke the m98 better

here is what i think

offer vert feed like the HPS m98s
better stock barrel and longer
polished internals
and have a trigger that is perfect so you dont need a trigger job

Definatly a new barrel. that would be number 1.

Number 2 would be to get some kind or rear cocking system like the full boar that allows you to cover the standard cocking "hole" where paint can get in.

Number 3 would either an Expansion Chamber or a touble triger with guard. Expansions chambers do make your gas hoggy m98 more efficient and also make it look cool. For cool...the double trigger is a must. It offers you much faster rates of fire. But what I found is you need a 9v cuz I can easily out shoot my standard hopper and after one break things get ugly cuz taking the m98 isn't the most fun thing to do, unfortunalty.

Anything after that like a reactive triger or a low pressure kit I think is only for serious paintball plays. Normal c02 with an expansion chamber works just find. Don't spend you money on n2 for a tippmann. If you want m2. Go buy a cocker or a Automag and put n2 or Compressed air on that.

hope I helped...email me with questions :blah:

I think m98 should come with averticle feed, polished internals, polished stock barrel and I also would like it if they made some way to stop the 2x trigger from being so loose and shaky.

personally, i really dont like da m98 customs. sure its a convenience for all the drop in kits, but the regular m98s....were awesome. i have one, and i did so much trigger work, its only 2mm long, snappy, light, and i modded the triger so the sear creates an rt effect, pushing the trigger back. this was only done because of how da trigger is designed, and where da strings were located. it was called da "hyper shot"trigger system...and it was so fricking great. i would buy another m98, but never a custom.

I personally would like to see them re-design the how the internals fit it the body so you don't have to take the two halves of the marker apart. They should design it more like the old prolites and autococker styles. Just a solid ody that the parts slide in and out of. Just my oppinion.

what i think tippmann should do (in no particular order)..
Polish the internals.
Better barrel
Lighter,
standard x-chamber installed.
make it a little compact. with a 12 inch barrel the gun and the tank. Its a little long. yea..

i have also thought about that and maybe a titaninium model like that

Trauma,

If you compare the parts in the model98 to the parts in a prolite, they are very similar. they only thing that has been majorly changed is the body type. So I don't see why they can't go back. Anyways a titanium version would be sweet.

it would be simple to do but i think the connecting rod would have to be on the outside and the grip would have to be removeable

Yep, just like the prolite. It is doable but I don't really think its worth it for them to do that. They should just start redesigning another marker to come out with.
