How realiable is the ACE? Is it more of a hassle than its worth? Cuz doesnt detect dark paint, I read it could fog up in another thread, all sorts of things. Does everybody have trouble with the eye? I was looking into a BKO but I think it costs too much along with a new HPA tank so I was thinking of trading my fenix in for a TES with the ultralite and a 12oz co2 with on/off valve and anti siphon. And would the palmers stablizer fit in the same place as the stock reg? Like as the front grip? I kind of like co2, maybe its newb thing for me. Oh and does it have an external recharge port so you dont have to take out the battery to recharge? Thats is a nify feature. :D

my setup would be:
black tes
14" or 12" dye ultralite (all black)
palmers stablizer
12oz co2 with on/off valve & anti siphon
shocktech shim kit
some nice grips
12v revy w/ xboard

later on:
madman rocket valve or aka tornado valve
some high flowing bolt
lighter striker

My friend has a T.E.S, and as far as I know, he hasn't had trouble with the eye. Even if you do have trouble with it, you can turn it off easily.

P.S. I would highly suggest using compressed air. If you have a fast trigger finger, it is very easy to freeze up.

even with anti siphon kit installed? is it the liquid co2 that freezes up or just the co2?

The eye had caused me no problems, just gotta keep it clean. and even with a anti-siphon tube the gun gets quit cold. Air is definately the way to go

The eye has caused me a Crap load of problems. It's never accualy works in game. I know that sounds weird but, itr's true. When i chrono in i'm fine but as soon as i draw a bead on someone and go to fire. Nothing. After i fiddle with it for about 3 minutes and it still won't work i just call my self out and walk off the field. Then the ref comes over to see whats wrong with it and, Surprise it works just fine. So basicly i can play with it for about 4 rounds then have to turn the eye off. and yes this is with HPA before anyone asks. Thus is why i'm looking to trade it for a cocker.

I wouldn't say DON"T get the tes. the rate of fire is insane, Just don't think to much of the ACE. I'm only gunna trade cause the thing is pissing me off.

Send it in man. I haven't had any problems with the ACE on mine, and since I installed a zenitram, the rof is crazy

That Baby will freeze up So FAST with Co2 ..I know from doing it ! Froze it like a rock !!!:(
The eye on TES works...When I first got it I was play at a camp that use half black shell so ..sometimes it would read Sometime it wouldn't. It would do the same thing on Clear Shell also. It the Reflective ACE ...a beam-break ace would be better but more expensive in part and milling work to gun!
