Hi... I am thinking about getting a spyder compact but i need to know some things. I am more interested in accuracy and range then anything else. How is this gun on those two aspects. But my main question is what size paintballs do i need for a spyder!

Well, I'm going to get carpal tunnel syndrome (spelling?) if I write one more thing about accuracy and range. So instead of re-writing what I have written before here is a link:

I wrote about it in my second post in that thread. As for the paintball size, if your using your stock barrel I have used diablo blaze and it worked well. That's all my field sells so I can't help you with any other kinds. Its just what paint fits the barrel your using be it stock or any other barrel.

I agree with Newton's first law of Inertia. That's why i laugh when people boast there guns are more "accurate" and shoots "farther". Yet the article says that barrel DOESN't effect the accuracy of the flight of a paintball. The thing is...with my naked eye..i have SEEN big improvement in my accuracy from my stock barrel that came with my marker. How do you explain that? My shots are alot tighter and i have fewer breaks and "off the mark" shots.

I think that it is mainly because that article is implying that barrel length doesnt affect accuracy. It isnt mentioning that a cheaply made barrell wont be as accurate. If your new barrel makes the paint go straigt it is because of craftmanship .

but what do i know. Ive never shot a paintball gun in my life!
