Squeeze a bunch of paint into a ziplock bag and throw it? I'm sure there's probably something you can do with a baloon, but grenades are pretty much useless.

ok its pretty easy, not as easy as puttin paint in a bag but its easy. go to home depo and buy some tubing. cap one end and fill the other with any liquid. cap the other and poke a hole in the top. take your bike pump and put as much air pressure as you can in it. (make sure the caps are tight cause it will pop on you if there not) pull out the pump and quickly plug the hole with paper. throw it a gainst a tree and teh paint goes flyin. but there usless in actuall paintball so don't waist to muhc time with it.

Take some tubing and seal one end.
Fill the tubing 3/4 of the way with paint. Then fold the tube over.
Stick a ball bearing (or something as big as the tube) in the tube to hold the paint in. When you throw the grenade, this will hold the paint in for a few seconds before it goes everywhere.
Put some sort of cap over the top of it so that the crease is in the cap. Stick something through the cap and under the fold to hold it in place.
