Chris818181, I hate to be a jerk about this but don't post things you don't understand. You're going to confuse someone. You've posted quite a few times today and everything I've seen you say is complete nonsense. Turning up your velocity will have no effect on your hopper at all. Really, I'm not trying to be a jerk, and I don't know if you're serious in these threads or just goofing around, but you've posted a lot of completely false info.

just shut up
altering your velocity has nothing to do with your hopper, if your hopper were to crap out on you while adjusting your velocity is pure coincidence, seeing as they are not technically linked in anyway besides the breech, and the only way that could screw up your hopper is maybe letting a wee bit more blow back into your hopper, but not enough to screw it up.
the only way to get a hopper to crack by adjusting something would be the tightness of the elbow/feedneck, which yes if put to tight would possibly crack your hopper. but in no way is adjusting the velocity similar to adjusting the feed neck. if you actually do own a shop, i feel sorry for anyone that has had they're equipment fixed by your, for you more then likely made it worse

come back once you know what your talking about

sorry turambar just had to get that out of my system

It's alright if the thread gets shut down, we already answered the question at hand right. Are there any more questions about how to turn the velocity up?
