Impy Dwell Setting

Hi, I just got my impulse. I think I know a pretty lot about them but maybe not as much as I need. I need to know how to adjust the dwell. Where do I adjust it? Is it on the back of the gun where I think it is? Also, to adjust my velocity and pressure and all, dont I just turn the bottom of my Reg ( i have verical )??? Sorry, these may sound stupid, but I would rather sound stupid here than at my feild. thanks.

The dwell is on the right side of the Impulse. To get your velocity set adjust your regulator to about 180 psi. The turn you dwell adjustment until you get about 280 fps. To adjust your velocity up turn the dwell pot counter-clockwise and visaversa.

where on the right side, I see a hole above the trigger that looks kind of like where the LED is on bushy's, but on the other side.

is the dwell POT accesed through the side behind the rubber stip above the Trigger? My rubber strip, one end of it is not connected to the main body.

The dwell is the hole on the right side, the one closest to the back of the marker. If you look close you will see that it is a pot and use a jewelers straight screw driver to adjust the dwell up or down.

Before you start changing the dwell, what pressure and speed are you shooting?

You should adjust the reg to give you 180 psi

shoot over a chrno to get your speed

IF the speed is " around 280" (265-290) leave the dwell alone.

The only resion to adjust the dwell is if it is "wrong"--that is if at 180 psi you are not in the speed range I indicated

Don't start adjusting the dwell if you don't have access to a chrno. You can not correctly set the dwell with out a chrno.
