Maybe some of you knew this already, but JT is owned by Brass Eagle. Frankly, nearly everyone I have ever met (or talked to or read posting from) thinks that Brass Eagle product suck.
Keep this in mind when you are thinking about purchasing your next JT product.
...not really knocking JT...just pointing out a fact.

Im sorry, does it make a damn? Its idiotic not to buy a JT mask just because they are owned by BE.

JT was bought out by Brass Eagle, but is still under the same management, so don't worry about it. Still kind of sad to know that when we buy our VL's and JT's that we're helping BE though.

Like I basically said, I'm sure several folks aready knew this
....actually, it does make a damn. Hello!!! Did it matter that GEO cars where really made by Suzuki? You bet. Because Suzuki sucks. But the GEO cars that were made by Toyota were fine...because Toyota does a good job. You bet it matters who's name is REALLY behind the product!
I have seen several postings/reviews on this sight where individuals have stated things such as: "JT means quality!". ...hello!!! JT is Brass Eagle (same management or not) and nearly every Brass Eagle product bites. Sure, goggles are not as sophisicated as a gun or paint or a sight, so their goggles tend to perform just fine. But, then again, the JT goggles are no where near as good as goggles like the Raven Novus...not even close. You get what you pay for. $20-$30, you get an OK goggle...but not a great goggle that you are super glad you bought.
JT may be "OK", but nothing great. Most of their products work fine, but nothing people are going to brag about. There DO tend to be less expensive, so that is OK.
Also....and truly to the point: If it said "Brass Eagle" on the box or goggle, 90% of paintballers would not buy it. And that IS the bottomline.

I also think JT's quality will decrease as did VL when it was taken over by BE. When Brass Eagle took over JT, if you have been to a trade show lately, their prices and service began to suck. I personally won't buy a JT mask just for the reason of it being owned by BE. I can be called idiotic or whatever, but that's where I stand on the subject.

Yeah, it's BEs version of the x-fire I think. Those are brass eagle masks, made by brass eagle. The spectra is still made by JT, to the same standards, and I still like them for that reason. It's still the same mask in my opinion, but when i start to see otherwise, those V-force morph masks, with the quick change lenses look pretty nice
