theres no exact size. Just make one and look at it and ask yourself "Is this too small or too big or is it fine?"

Is the snake on the right side? Remember were starting on wood. So I need a estimate of how big a field would be, how many bunkjers there would be, and how much netting would be and where to find it? Also who knows how many pounds are is 325 grams?

bah i cant remember where but i just say the dimensions for a 10 man field(cut it in half viola) it was im 90% sure 180 feet by 120 feet very square? but thats what it was for the JT Field at the world cup so i guess cut in half and u got a 5 man Field dimensions

I've got oh so many projects going and I want to do this one because this would improve experience, I can make some collateral, and it would be a great practice. I have it all planned out the only thing stoppiung me is netting. I'm building all the bunkers out of wood and i'm like welding garbage cans or something lol to make a snake. and i'll have like a mini garbage can up to be the mid part of the snake (you know theres usually a pop up there where you get angles) Anyway I want to find netting for 100 long by 60 width about..... and I want poles included with it. go to www.paintballnetting.com and it will show one for 270. Can someone please help me those measurements say some crap like 150/20 or osmething and.... it's quite confusing. Does that mean 150 long and you just put it in a square and 20 feet high? if os i'd prefer 160 but meh that'll do i'll just cut down each by 5 feet that's not sucha big deal. Okay i'm being quite pickey but if you knew me i'm sucha perfectionist. I'm getting a new body on my gun to make it light. I obsess over color matching. I'm getting a worrblade (hate the grips btw.... the yellow!) and getitng it anodized. ANYWAY now that i proved my O.C.D. if someone could help me (I know theres perfectionist out there if not be generous) then help me please. i'll be your friend buddy ;~)

By the way, how much are like wooden poles to hold that up that'll go like 15 feet high? and how many do you think I would need for 100 long and 50 wide? And how much money and how many netting clips would I need? Thank you all for helping me out.

I have an airball field, it gave general instructions for a 5 man set up. Approx 180 feet by 80 feet. That's 5 man and used 19 bunkers. Hope this helps since no one else seems to know.

the field a friend and i built is either 200 or 150 ft long (depending on what we feel like when were settin it up) and 100 or 75 feet wide. we have probably.... 25+ bunkers in there, we like it filled, but were probably gunna take some out this year to make it more challenging.

It's Admiral btw ;~). And no it doesn't help with 25+ bunkers we want like 15 I think? If you go to actionvillage get the schematics for it add 2 bunkers (for mid players) and you'll have the field I want to build..... people are just popping distances out of there Can someone tell me a real 5 on 5 speedball (wooden or pipe) field that will have like 14-16 bunkers. Also no one answered my wooden poles. they have to be 15 feet but how many approxy? Also i need a netting clip revery foot and a half I think am I right? Or is it every cm and ahalf? idr

Vasili go back and read my first post. It states the size. Here it is again:

I agree with toolfan. Is htere a difference between air ball and speedball.... meaning if I'm having all wood bunkers should my field be smaller? I guess it shouldn't make a difference. Also that is really big for a 5 man or 19 bunkers. usually you'd og 150 by 50. I don't know. I guess it would work just be really spread out. If you have a pciture (overhead prefferably) of your field please share. I'd love to see how it cam eout.

Nope, no difference at all. Sup'airball is speedball, it's the Same thing.

Well here's two pics of it:

Well, I only want like 15 bunkers I think I said. So I can reduce the size and it'll feel the same correct? Also, is there anyway you can do a far picture? From in front of the dorito all the way to the other side and take a picture of that. That would be nice.

vassili17
01-25-2004, 06:18 AM
Make it so someones on the other end of thef field on that dorito if it's asymmetrical

vassili17
01-26-2004, 06:44 AM
Sorry, if you count the snake as one bunker thne it'll be 17 in total.

The Dorito is placed on the 50. The pics I put here for you were taken a coupla months ago, and the weather here has turned to crap.

Normally, to set up a field you want the bunkers to get smaller and have less of them the closer to mid field, the 50, as you go. Most tourny set ups are this way.

Okay, but if you go to www.pbgear.com and check out the way they setup the 5 man, that will be nice but I want two more like cans in between the middle bottom and the middle middle one. it's hard to explain but one on each side.

i like your first one "dporito" better. Is that setup like a 5 man at pbgear.com?
